We had a baby shower for someone at work today, so nothing got done. I went out drinking with fellow interns after work and had cranberry vodka and a tequila sunrise. Now I'm going to see How To Train Your Dragon 2. Basically, today was awesome.

I had a really, really long day, but it wasn't that bad of one, all things considered. I had a paranoia attack but that can be blamed partially on sleep deprivation, and the rest of today was okay.

I'm going to see that tomorrow and I'm so excited!

Other than that, things aren't great. Pain and fatigue are worse than usual and I'm sleeping too much and feeling guilty about it.

I know I don't know anything about your physical situation, but just to let you know, I think it's okay to sleep more if the pain and fatigue are also more.

There was a guy talking very loudly on his phone directly outside my window this morning, which is what work me up. This is especially unsettling because I live in a second floor apt, and I looked up to see his shadow blocking the light through my blinds. He said something about a painting business to the person on the other end of the line and I realized that there was not a mutant hovering outside my window in a creepy manner. The apt complex is apparently repainting everything and they chose this morning to do it very loudly outside my window.

Daily worrying about continuing higher education for ultimately no reward except a useless degree. Same old same old.

But I too will see HTTYD 2 tomorrow!

Moved out of my apartment yesterday, but wasn't able to move the bed. On the way back home, my steering gummed up for uncertain reasons. My father figured he could steer it well enough to drive me back to my apartment and help me pick up the bed.

The radio died. And the headlights. And the speedometer. And the gas gauge. We pulled over at an out-of-the-way gas station and called AAA. They were pretty busy cleaning up a major car crash, so they said they'd be by to give us a tow in about 90 minutes.

After about an hour, my phone and my 3DS were both out of batteries. My father had a book, but I didn't, and he's not an easy person to chat with.

After about two hours, I became fascinated by the newly risen moon. The sky was covered in clouds, but there was a tiny gap that the moon shone brightly through. Framed by the palm trees around the gas station, it seemed like one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen.

After about three hours, I told my father it seemed like a night for ending things. The moon, the clouds, the shade of the night . . . if the world ended, it would be on this night. He said he wasn't listening to me.

In the tow truck on the way home, I started to notice just how many of the lights around me were blood-red. I'd never noticed that so many buildings use that shade in their signs. It felt like the red was burrowing into my brain.

I got home around midnight. I played video games for two hours before going to bed, to make sure I wasn't still that philosophical when I started dreaming.

I saw Edge of Tomorrow today - it was better than expected. otherwise I've been feeling like shit.

...It is going.

Mostly I'm moody as fuck, tired and stressed, but hey, things could be worse.

Had an ice cream sandwich today. (That was the highlight of my day. God, I really want to eat all the food.)

Waiting on a "you get to go on to the next stage of the hiring process" email that I'm starting to suspect won't come. But the fic I'm glued to updated today and I got my income tax return, so there's that. When the sun starts to go down I have a walk planned, and I've started crocheting Princess Celestia in between attempts to embroider Rainbow Dash's cutie mark.

it's okay. I'm procrastinating on studying for this final but I really shouldn't because I need to and it's my LAST FINAL EVER. (it's my final final!)

it's gonna be awesome tomorrow. the final finishes at 9AM. I have the rest of the day to start packing my shit up before going to hang out with friends, have pizza for dinner, and play YGO. :D and on Saturday I get to head home, leave this place behind, and see my ~~babies~~ dogs again!

My Internet is down. Shitty AT&T says I need a new modem. Which I apparently have to buy from them. For $100. Yippee.

Eeeeeee. Someone wrote me a fic and I can't wait to read it. (It's about Vir and Londo <3.)

Mostly I've just been enjoying the sunshine, it's been nice the past couple of days, so we must be due a bought of rain to even things out.

Leaving my job tomorrow, have an interview on Tuesday, and flying to a convention in a week!!!

I've also been pretty productive in writing my novel so I'm really happy. :)

Re-taught a friend how to bike (she hadn't done it in years, and she got it again in just 10 mins) and I think I caught a bit of a sunburn on my nose. Figures I'd forget to put sunscreen on there.

The new diet I started on the weekend seems to be improving my digestive health already, unless it's just a placebo effect or coincidence; since anecdotal evidence has reported positive effects within a week, though, I'm hopeful. Feeling better has enabled me to get a TON of work done on the costume I need to finish for a con in... eep, I just realized it's next weekend. Still, it's almost wearable now!

Now watching baseball, and my Tigers are up a run on the friggin' White Sox in the 7th, and the Sox' ace is probably going to leave the game soon considering his pitch count. I just spotted my first fireflies of the year and am seriously considering going out and catching a jar full of them.

On the down side, got a call back from the vet, and one of my bunnies did test positive for e. cuniculi, so we're going to be starting her on some potentially dangerous medication - and she may have some kidney issues, but the vet seemed confident that if so, they could be handled. Plus one of my other buns has been sneezing too, so he's going to get checked out Monday. Considering we were suspicious of e. cuniculi when he had a bout of not eating last summer, I won't be surprised if they both have to be started on that tough medication, and this is all going to be expensive. But I think we can handle it, and payday is tomorrow.
