Yep, that was the death knell of any interest I had in catching back up with the show. They're not even pretending they have a plan anymore.

Oh ho ho. Yes, they are pretending. The writers are pretending really, really hard. Like "if we believe we have a plan, all the fans will believe it too, clap your hands if you believe in fairies" hard. If you wanted to die of alcohol poisoning, you could make a drinking game out of every time they've contradicted previous cast and creative team interviews and previous show canon.
