nayrt

There have been rumors for a long time (among other things, it's been alleged that he's passed out scientology pamphlets to the cast and crew of some of his films) but, tbf, he and his wife have always denied that they are actual scientology practicers. Regardless of this, like the other anon said, he has gone on record saying that he thinks a lot of scientology ideals are "brilliant" and "revolutionary". He and his wife also founded a school a few years ago that taught scientology deals and followed a curriculum designed by the founder of scientology. The former principal also claims that teachers were forced to complete scientology courses in order to teach there and that parents were encouraged to as well

I googled Scientology and it sounds like a cross between psychotherapy and a sect. Maybe it's not too bad, but funding such school is a step too far. Kids shouldn't be pushed to one religion in an impressionable age by teachers. Ach, W. Smith looked not-crazy. Thanks for the info!
I've recently read that Ninth Gate is made by Polansky, and J. Depp was in it. >_>
Anyway, too many celebrities, so there are bound to be bad apples.
