Make sure after the Tian'anmen documentary you check out their website, tsquare.tv . One of the student leaders actually sued them for misrepresenting her through a translation of an interview she specifically gave for the foreign press, and the filmmakers go through point-by-point and defend their word choice. It's a really interesting meta-commentary about the conflict over how the incident is presented to the West.

I mentioned the AIDS film because it made me break down sobbing while watching, and it is a Good Movie. The AIDS problem in China isn't really widely known, but it's really devastating in certain provinces--entire villages were infected through sketchy blood donation practices.
