I had problems with a friend last year and I thought we patched things up around New Year's but I haven't heard from her in months now. I'm thinking about messaging her just to see how she's doing but I don't want to do it if it's just going to annoy her. She's not good at keeping in touch with people so it could just be that, but she's also not good at confrontation (I had to keep bugging her to tell me what her problem was last year) so she could not want to be friends anymore too. I don't care if people don't like me, I just want them to be upfront with me. I hate that I don't know where I stand with her.

If you missed her, and the problems seem small or solved in retrospect, I'd just do it. It can be very light-hearted: hey, I haven't heard from you in a while and was wondering how you're doing?

But apparently something bad needed to happen to balance out the good. I nearly dislocated my hip on my way out of the shower. I hate my joints.

Oh well. At least my friend doesn't hate me as much as my body. :D

(And sorry about your body hating you. The hip is like my least favourite joint to dislocate, if I'd had to choose, because it throws me so off balance).
