I am so angry about the health care system in my country (USA). I have been fighting so hard for the past two years to get help, but I get denied at every turn. There are so many loopholes to get out of giving people help and it pisses me off. I'm sitting here wasting away in apathy and depression and suicidal urges and trying my best to get help but nobody actually wants to do a damn thing to help me because it's all about money and paperwork and nothing about actual people.

I'm too poor for some programs, not poor enough for others, not physically disabled and mental disabilities/issues apparently aren't real or don't count. I'm just...fucking fed up and I've run out of options to try.

Our health care system is a damn shame. :( I hope one day you'll be able to get the help you need (and deserve). Until then you can always use fs! as a place to vent? Or maybe find a forum where you can discuss your options with people in similar sistuations?
