I wasn't sure about it either, but like you I was pleasantly surprised. (Despite the constant sadness that I somehow didn't expect. Not to that extent, anyway.)

I actually adored the actress who played Margaret, she was fantastic and had great chemistry with Armitage. And he...gah. He was stupidly distracting in his clothing and I couldn't get enough of his and Margaret's relationship.

I was kind of expecting the sadness, although I wasn't expecting it to actually cause me sadness. I really loved her mother and father. And Bessy. ;3;

Yes! She was so good! Such quiet dignity. ;3; And I loveloveloved the way Armitage looked at her. His eyes. So intense omg.

(although every time anyone said "the Hales" I immediately thought of Teen Wolf, lmao)
