I concur so much it hurts. I knew it was completely unlikely, but I was still annoyed when the Colour of Magic was chosen as this year's TV movie following the success of the Hogfather.

I'm just not much of a fan of the Rincewind books. :|

Color of Magic just basically sucks, I'm sorry to say. Pratchett didn't really figure out what he was doing till a few more books in when it started getting all awesome. :/

Personally, I desperately want to see a Watch book filmed. Any Watch book. And Maskerade. And The Truth. Monstrous Regiment would be cool too. Uh... it's hard to pick just one.

I'm just still amazed they actually did my first choice first.

That sums it up perfectly, I feel. And ditto on all the books wanted to be filmed. I think if I wanted a Watch book, it'd be Men at Arms - it has the most going on without getting too confusing for someone who didn't know the books.

My love for Otto demands the Truth to be made.

I think Hogfather was chosen because it was meant to be shown around Christmas time, even though it ended up being shown a bit earlier (as far as I can remember).
