Most Phoenix Wright "wank" is, really. We're all pretty mellow, for the most part. There are exceptions, and there are bad days, of course.

If it helps encourage you, we actually just had a post on the community yesterday that was a mock trial discussing the whole Phoenix/Edgeworth pairing and their "unnecessary" feelings for one another (http://community.livejournal.com/gyakuten_saiban/515612.html?nc=56). Surprisingly, there was no wank whatsoever, just a bunch of us being major dorks and having a good time. :) Granted, a lot of it is sided towards Phoenix/Edgeworth, but we're all good-natured about it.

I was lazy and didn't read it all, but...that was rather fun, from what I read. XD It was nice to see a polite and almost tongue-in-cheek debate between the two sides. Maybe I'll get the third game of PW and finish it during winter break so I can be caught up to speed and interact with the fandom more. ^^ Thank you!
