I'd like to say I'm flattered that people wrote hate sex about me and someone I don't even know but that would be a lie. I kind of feel sick to my stomach and like I want to cry.

I knew making that secret was a bad idea. :\

You said you hated yourself for it but you still posted it. I don't know what I did that was so offensive. All I meant is Phoenix and Miles are canon to me. Number 15 didn't upset me, he or she can hate what or who ever they want. For a fandom based on a series of videogame-books this fandom seems pretty bad at reading.

Thank God everyone can forget actual people made these things since it's the internet. Thank God you're around so no shitty internet fanfic challenge will remain unfufilled. Next time try a simple apology instead of a lengthy reply about how I'm somehow wrong for feeling like shit and how you really "hate yourself" for doing it but "here's some justification anyway"

I guess I see why people were so afraid of this fandom before.

I can honestly say as someone who only played the first flashback case of PW3 on a PC emulator-- This seems incredibly unrelated to lawyering in general.

I've seen secrets like mine before. Most of the time people ignore them or they agree with them. In this fandom I somehow become someone who thinks PW/ME is absolute canon and will not rest until everyone around me feels the same way. I know my secret is like someone saying all they want to eat is prime rib but just because someone only wants to eat prime rib doesn't mean she thinks everyone else should too.

tl;dr: RPS hurts my feelings but I should suck it up and not ruin the fun.

Again I say; This fandom is about lawyering and not sex. There is no sex here. xD

People were amused at the juxtaposition of the secrets, is all. Like if I made a Gurren Lagann secret being all "I fucking love Rossiu, best character ever, Kamina can suck my balls." And right below me was a secret going "I hate Rossiu, he's the worst character created by man, anybody who likes him is scum and I hate them too."

...you'd have people going "lol OTP." It just happens that this time, someone was bored enough to write sex about it.

Really, you should just try to calm down and laugh because, well... lol fandom?

I'm just saying. the person who wrote the RPS doesn't play PW as far as I know or isn't in the fandom. It just so happened that your secret happened to be posted on the same day as a vehement opposal. And someone happened to be bored enough to write it. If your secret were posted tomorrow, nothing would have happened.

It's not an attack against you or whatever, it's just simple coincidence. It's fandom.

The person that wrote it is in the fandom and ships Gumshoe and Miles. It wasn't an attack but it was insensitive. I thought that making it known it almost made me cry would make people realize that I didn't find it funny but I guess somehow the blame lays on me for writing and posting a secret that made someone else post a challenge that yet another person felt they had to fufill.

Was it insensitive? Yes. Do I sympathize with you feeling this way? Of course. But I'm just saying it's simply a coincidence that these happened on the same day and someone made a challenge in jest that somebody had the time / energy to fill.

It's an unhappy coincidence, but it IS a coincidence and really just more "lol fandom" in general than anything else.

What don't you understand about this? The people that fufilled this request are in the PW fandom. No one else felt the need to actually sit down and write a fanfic in which I am pinned down by a stranger and half-forced to have sex even among all the other comments about "15/6 OTP". These people did it. These people in the same fandom I am (was?) in. But it's okay because the writer really hates herself for it! I don't know what I'd do if she didn't hate herself for being a jerk. Whew. That's an ease off my mind.

Yes, because RPS is solely limited to Fandom!Secrets and the PW fandom. you're right. It never happens elsewhere, EVER. It only happened to you this one time because clearly the PW fandom conspired to have these secrets posted on the same day and that someone would make the prompt for someone to fill.

Like I said, I sympathize with you even if I'd find it hilarious if it happened to me. But really, it's an anonymous secret, nobody was doing it to attack you, it could have happened to any fandom with any secret ever; it just happened to happen here.

And nobody is agreeing with your secret at all asides.

Actually, I have had RPS written about me--more than once. And, I just want to say that I am sorry.

I wasn't too thrilled myself when it happened to me, but at this point I think it's best to just try to let it lie. I think it was in poor taste, but there's nothing you can do about it. At this point, you'll just attract wank. It's not worth it. These people didn't know you when they wrote it out; it's not really a reflection of you. As if anyone could know what you're really like just because of a three sentence secret posted in a secrets community.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't entirely agree with your secret, but I understood what you meant and where you were coming from. Please don't let this sour you on fandoma s a whole.

Thank you. You're right. I feel bad for overreacting but it's like people don't even understand how it could make me feel so bad. It didn't happen to just anyone. It happened to me. I just wanted people to understand that it upset me and to acknowledge that without "okay I understand...now get over it because it wasn't aimed at you deliberately!"

Well, I don't think that's exactly what Funk is trying to say, but...just, feel better. I'm sorry this happened to you.
