Related to the first thread in GC. What dreams have you had, lately or in general?

Apparently after viewing a promo for the the Orange is the new Black series (I think that's what it is called? I don't have the channel nor have I ever watched any episodes) I had lesbian dreams last night. And I'm pretty much celibate and have no reason or desire to have sex (with either gender really).

I dreamed that I went to Russia for work (I'm a biology student) but Putin had confiscated my papers so I was stuck there, unable to come home.

I had this crush on my professor last semester, all right? So, in my dream, she lives in this old school French Quarter style house. She is still a professor and she takes me on as a grad student/assistant, which means that I move into her house and basically follow her around, assisting her professionally and with housework. All this time, I have this helpless, yearning crush on her that I know is totally hopeless because she's straight. My sister tells me, "She doesn't know you exist." Prof overhears that and I, feeling frustration and despair, freeze for a moment. Prof acts completely nonchalant and out of frustration, I tell her, "I'm the one who sent you that letter last semester. I've loved you all this time. I know it's stupid and that you can't love me, but I can't help how I feel." I ask her if I should leave and arrange for a replacement and she looks annoyed. Prof rolls her eyes and tells me that she knows that I sent the letter. She's aware that I have feelings for her and since I know nothing will come of it, she doesn't need to correct me. She then walked off and told me to get her coffee. This was in front of my sister (and the ghost that lived in the house). I was so pissed (still did got the coffee).

Weirdly, when I woke up, I felt pretty happy about the whole dream. I was like, "Yeah, experiencing all the angles of emotional yearning. Like it." It was weird. Weirdly enough, though, I found dream!Prof pretty hot for being so no-nonsense and rude.

I dreamed I rented a new, expensive apartment and moved in with a female roommate. She had a giant crush on me and even though I wasn't that into her, I accepted when she asked me to be her girlfriend. She starts making plans for the future or something, but halfway through the dream I remembered... I have a boyfriend. Then I got really upset trying to figure out how to break up with her (without her going nuts, or kicking me out of the apartment) and confess to my boyfriend that I'd technically been cheating on him, even though it was only because I didn't remember he existed.

Well, here's my most recent interesting dream:

Theon Greyjoy and Ramsey and some guy named Brian from our world who somehow ended up in the Game of Thrones world and was just confused as all hell. He had glasses and short blond hair. He ended up unwittingly helping Ramsey a lot with his evil plans. Then Ramsey just straight up drove a car into Winterfell and killed everyone. Including Sansa. Who was there for some reason.

That my father and younger brother were killed in a car crash on a mountain road, only me and my other brother survided.
That a book/TV series I loved as a teen got a gritty sequel, with mutilations and ship wrecking.
That a trek in the woods with my brother and my grand parents lead to an olf Roman crucifixion spot with mummified corpses still on display.
That I got in a car-crash with my whole family because they kept blocking me from checking our surroundings before changing lanes--thankfully everybody survived this time.
That a gritty comic books series I love got an even grittier new issue, with even more infant deaths and mindfuck.
That I got car-jacked, nearly raped and when I escaped, passerbys that did nothing to help me... held me down to help the rapist instead.
That I went to a non-binary-awareness social event with my father and brothers and met the oh so cute daughter of a famous transmen couple.
That I met a famouse lesbian author and developped a mega crush on her.
That a Literal Genie caused everypony in Equestria, male and female, except for Fluttershy, to get pregnant.
That the whole streer where I used to live with my parents a few years ago burned down.
That an old crooner sexually abused Lady Lovelocks and got her a STD, which she passed on her friends.
That I just need two minutes to grab my STP and my mooncup before running to help the Hobbits taken to Isengard.
That during a family reunion, my mother spoke up to remind her father that he has been dead for a couple of years already--only for my uncles to shut her up for being rude: both she and I were also dead, killed in a car crash the first time I drove us home after getting my driving licence, and they weren't making a fuss about it.
That the whole Mustang crew got pregnant, too, by a Homonculus.
That Elsa got secretly engaged to a reformed Hans and they were wearing matching socks as a token.

out of curiosity, do you have a fear of driving irl?

ohmygosh the typos...
I'm sorry it's getting late where I live and I should just go to bed. Hopefully, without adding anything else to this list!

I was on the campus bus, only instead of the bus turning where it was supposed it, it kept going South. Somehow, south turned from houses and a suburb-y area into mountains of ice. Literal mountains of ice as the bus drove through glaciers, and we could see an owl that had gotten frozen in it somehow.

Then the people on the bus started signing the Misty Mountains song from The Hobbit, and the sides of the bus melted away. For some reason. There was a kid on the bus that I know that I recognized, but if you asked me from where, I would have to look at you in confusion.

Eventually we left the glaciers, and were in snowy mountain peaks. Also, the bus was now donkeys that we were riding.

I have no idea why.

And then a grizzly bear came out of the woods and ate us all.

I had a dream about Sebastian Stan that I enjoyed thoroughly.

Had a dream that I was like an FBI agent. And I was gaurding this person. We were under attack so I put her into an SUV. But they got switched and then she got pulled into like this 18 wheeler. I remember chasing it down but obviously I couldn't keep up.

Thru dream magic, I find the area. I am doing that soldier crawl up a ridge to figure out what happened. I see that the 18 wheeler crashed but there are still too many people for me to fight. I crawl back down a bit to wait for backup. And the kidnappers ended up raping the woman but I couldn't do anything but listen and wait.

Eventually one of men kills the woman and some of the other men. There are only 2 left and I sneak up on them. I make them get on their knees and I kill them execution style.

Then i woke up.

Since someone mentioned Sebastian Stan: I had a dream where I was someone else, a woman, who lived in a cheap-ish condominium with a pool and a courtyard. Post-Winter Soldier Bucky moved in, and he was trying to rebuild his life. We started falling in love with each other, but when we were first going to have sex, he had a mental breakdown/flashback and tried to kill me.

Right 2 weeks after CA:TWS came out (when I was at my most obsessive peak, basically) I actually dreamed that I was the Winter Soldier's handler. And it was one of the realistic interactive kind of dreams, you know... I sorta almost felt dirty when I woke up, LOL.

Almost.

I tend to be prone to wanderlust in dreams, exploring/passing through weird altered versions of familiar places and/or RL places smushed into each other and/or completely fantasy fabrications. Sometimes the dream gives me a vague excuse for wandering: I'm on a mission, or on the run, or an actual explorer, things like that. But some samples:

- I've taken part in a ships vs swimmers vs submarine war on a gigantic version of the beach near where I grew up, with a mine field strung out where the rip-tide usually runs and a secret hotel lair in the rock pools under the far cliffs. (I've also had piracy dreams on twisted versions of this beach, and various nightly maritime adventures that end up there sooner or later).

- I've gone on the run with a secret document in a brown envelope tucked against my side, starting out just on the trees-and-hedgerow lane near our house and then rapidly morphing onto a grey-green plain with weird gorges containing acid streams and a skeleton that crumbled when I touched it (I have no idea, that was a weird night, and I'd had biology the day before).

- I've played secret agent inside a weird building that started out looking like the student centre on campus and ended up looking like five glass cylinders with metal walkways strung between them in which superpowered students played spy.

- I've been caught in a mobile haunted house strewn with broken glass and razor weird and deadlier versions of the Escher Room from Labyrinth, while a weird monkey-man with wings tried to guide me out.

- I've gone swimming in a flooded shopping mall with massive white metal air-ducts that now served as kind of mer-people highways. Again with the secret agent thing, I had a package to deliver in this one too.

- I had one with where bombs from the London Blitz came through time portals onto my completely innocent town in a completely different country, and randomly blew up the gazebo in one of the little parks while the playground next to it was frozen in time. That one was odd in that people actually died, and some of them kids. There was something half like a plot, too, involving a group of people active when the time portals hit and trying to minimise casualties until it passed again - possibly I was watching Doctor Who before that one, though Terminator is also a possibility.

I have a lot of dreams, usually with elements of exploration, superpowers, secret missions, sometimes wars/battles/fights, random geographical features, the odd skeleton or lake of blood, plot elements from whatever I happened to be watching/reading recently, and bizarre mish-mashes of basically anywhere I've ever been in my life that could possibly be used as a dreamscape.

My brain just likes putting things in a blender and then setting them on speed, I think. It also likes beaches, bridges, river walkways, odd buildings, and random swordfights. Eh.

I would very much to like have dreams like yours, nonny.

Ha, sounds like my dreams!
Only I have the added benefit of lucid dreams sometimes, or semi-lucid, so I almost always have superpowers or pull weapons out of thin air or just say "screw it" and spend the dream flying around pretty landscapes instead of doing whatever the dream wants me to do.

Multiple dreams about there being a tornado in my area, going to the basement, seeing it through my window, seeing it when I'm out). It's my most common dream! Every week at least.

I'm not scared though, I'm interested in that kind of thing. (Storm chasing, weather.)

Lately, I've been dreaming I realize that all this time I've had a roommate who I just never see, and they've been judging me for my atrocious house-keeping skills.

Tonight? The basic thriller murder mystery.
Being invited to a family meeting, subsequently following someone out of curiosity to some shed behind the restaurant where the meeting was taking place and witnessing how others inside the family were telling them of for "blabbing their big mouth". Also I somehow convinced the guys wife to also spy on this meeting.
After the guy is being let go we (I and his very concerned wife) follow him to a big crossroad near a shopping area where he's standing around, acting very nervous. In a moment of carelessness he's suddenly gone and I go looking for him, calling his name, running around and stuff (and I think I suddenly had a friend in tow, dream logic and all that). We look everywhere but he's just gone. We get back to the crossroad where his wife was waiting anxiously and just see a big white van starting up and driving away. "Damnit, now they got her on their side" says my friend and... well then I woke up.

And I didn't even watch anything like that lately.

One of my recent ones was me just hanging around in Avengers Tower, I didn't get to be an Avenger or take part in fights or anything I was just... there.

Other than that it's just been me getting chased again and again in my dreams.

Lets see. Last night I was kidnapped by Sauron, attended Transfiguration at Hogwarts, and got a pet dragon. Plus several porny dreams involving fictional characters.

Last night I had a dream where I looked in a black mirror and the Grim Reaper appeared in it. For some reason I felt overwhelmed with happiness.

Apparently my dreams are super gothic and cheesy.
