It's probably the same people who keep harping on about "only drawing the POC version of Inquisition's elf rogue because she's ~too pale~ in the trailers compared to the concept art". And once again, they don't get that lighting in those game scenes is a huge factor and how a skin colour looks is directly connected to lighting.
But then again, they kept whining that Isabella wasn't WOC enough.

Yeesh, thank goodness I'm not on Tumblr fandom or whatever. Then again, I spent more time than I care to admit on the Bioware forums. The mods, and David Gaider (who posted sometimes) were totally amazing, but 90% of the users there were sexist, racist assholes. They were the ones mad that Isabela was "made black" when she was "obviously white" in the original, and bemoaned catering to minorities, etc. Yes, lighting makes a huge difference in these games, because even in the original, Isabela had the second darkest skin tone. Seeing characters in dim light vs bright light really alters their skin. Which is not a surprise, considering that happens irl, too.
