She said no. She kept saying no. She never said yes. It doesn't matter what the writers intended. What we got on the show was rape. In the books, it is consensual. But the scene on the show is rape.

My understanding is that she's meant to be also initiating the sex even while she's saying no. Her actions, if properly conveyed, would seem to speak a louder "yes" then her words.

Really? I didn't get that at all. She's clearly pushing him away. She's enjoying it because it is Jaime and she enjoys being with him, and she does kiss him back, but she never wants to have the sex.

Why do people who see a scene as rape always use "we"?
