All from the same messageboard.

- This troll claiming he was a time traveler, which was actually amusing at first until he started arguments with people in private messages.

- Someone's thread being closed for... some reason, and the person flipping out, calling the mod all sorts of names and everything. It was truly bizarre, especially as the mod in question couldn't have been nicer about it. IIRC it was speculated that this was actually a sockpuppet, because a few members had been like that, they got all pissed off suddenly and left in a huff.

- SOMEONE USED ALL CAPS AND GOT MAD WHEN WE TOLD HIM TO STOP.

Not really, but once a "friend" told me she hated anytime I mentioned fandom on my LJ because it made her feel sick and irritated.

In other words, she disagreed with me and couldn't handle it.

There was a certain... "boring" idiot involved in several wanks. It was the type of person who argued stupid points after taking ridiculous amounts of offense at something that was mildly insulting/triggery at worst. Only if you dared to dip your toe into that crazypool, you would get tangled up in it, and this person. always. had to have. the. last. boring. word.

Emphasis on BORING.

But I have to admit it was fun to see said wanker get f_w'd multiple times.

Oh yes, just recently. A player in an RPG decided that one of the mods was prejudiced against a particular fandom cast in the game because she failed to volunteer her Plurk name to new players from that cast when they joined, but did give it to people she shared a fandom with.

Now, her Plurk name is readily available to ALL players on the mod contact page, mind you, and she Plurks with people from that cast all the time. But apparently the fact that she didn't instantly offer it up to all comers meant she was viciously excluding the group in question.

(To be fair, there was also some other related stuff going on where I could see the wanky player's point. But the way they went on about this specific issue just made me facepalm forever.)
