Call of Duty. The people who write fic seem to skew pretty young, but the data on who actually plays it is shockingly old.

Soooo muuuch "DADDDDY!" and "aw I've gotta go feed my kid" and "my wife's getting home soon" over the mic, for a game whose playerbase is stereotyped as nine-year-olds.

Eh, the average gamer age is something like 35 these days, so it's not surprising if you think about it...still. It does sound a little old for the stereotype :P
