It's about as hard as guitar/banjo. And, tbh? I didn't. But there are a lot of resources to teach yourself [there are some youtube videos that are amazing] if you're willing to put the effort in [it is a fair amount of effort to make sure you're doing it right/finding out what you're doing wrong.]

There just isn't really anyone around here that I can learn from, and the one person I did find charged far more than I could afford per lesson. So this is really the only way I could learn it.

You can learn anything on the internet. ANYTHING! That is where I learned how to knit.
