da

The dub pronounces her name "meecuhsah" which is wrong.

The English pronunciation of Japanese names (and words) is always terrible.

To be fair, the Japanese pronunciation if the English names isn't great either.

Actually, "Mee-cuh-sah" is pretty close to the original Japanese. (the "uh" is technically more of an "ah" but it's not a stressed syllable so the difference is pretty small)

If you are pronouncing it "Mee-KAH-suh", then it's you who is wrong, sorry. English speakers put stress on different parts of words than Japanese. I watched the dub, and the dub sounded just fine to me and I speak Japanese.

Mikasa's name is simply "me-kuh-suh". The English dub (what I've heard of it) pronounces it "MEE-kuh-suh". I'm not fluent in Japanese (but I've taken several classes and grew up in a half-Japanese family) and I think her name in the dub is very lazy and strange.

That's seriously splitting hairs for an English cast. Frankly, the name sounds fine and very much how it is 'supposed' to be pronounced. If the actors have a slight accent, so what? They aren't butchering the name, not even close.
