It's so annoying when people speak the "wrong" language on shows or in movies just because the producers think the audience can't possibly be expected to read subtitles. Especially if the characters end up speaking English with overblown accents to show that they're still "foreign".

That was my problem with the Russians in Hunt for Red October. We're on their ship, seeing their POV and they're speaking English with Russian accents O.o Except for Sean Connery, of course.
