I can completely understand what you're saying, because I'm prone to similar fears. But trust me when I say that you absolutely should tell your psychiatrist. If he's worth his weight in salt, then he will take you seriously and work with you to find some other option. If he's not, then that will be a sign that you should find someone else. Either way, it's key to your health that you speak up.
