You're ok. And you're absolutely right. Racism does not mean 'does not like my favorite pairings,' which is how those punk SJWs are defining it. Fandom should be fun. You should be able enjoy it and not have to worry about being attacked because someone didn't like your OTP.

Calling someone misogynist or racist can ruin their career. Those aren't things that should be thrown around lightly.

Don't let them get you down. You're doing something meaningful with your life. They're sitting around on the internet being assholes.

Thanks. And thanks for letting me vent. It did make me feel better. And thanks to jaybie_jarrett as well.

I know most SJWs aren't like that and just going on Reddit alone (as mentioned by another anon) is evidence enough that a lot of SJWs are indeed fighting for important causes. It just feels like there's this vocal minority that sucks all the fun out of fandom and denigrates important issues by bringing them up about the pettiest things.
