Re: Drabbles

I used to write them as part of a drabble challenge community, specifically because to me, it is a challenge. It's kind of like playing with Legos - you have to pick and choose very carefully to be able to build something coherent and aesthetically pleasing given the restrictions.

I read them when they show up on my feed and such, since they don't take long and if they're on my feed, they're probably written by someone who I think is a good writer who can pull it off - but I don't really seek them out.

And I get kind of pissed every time someone uses the word "drabble" to just refer to a fairly short fic that is not exactly 100 words. :P
