I wish she'd just die in a fire, actress and character, bitch! and yes, it IS her fault, and tiic's fault too for ruining the show just to bring mighty Carter in. What's with the love?, maybe the actress fucked them all for the role, maybe she's as big of a whore as the character she plays.

Seriously, Carter's a whore? And what's with hating on Amanda Tapping? Hate on the character if you really feel the need, but leave the actress out of it.

and anyway Weir was getting boring, I was happier to see her go than Carson, seriously, exploding tumors what the fuck.

But we're getting the last laugh because the whore is getting the worst ratings in the history of SGA.

And Amanda is a bitch, the way she manipulated her fans to get herself a new contract, and now maybe she's sucked Joe's dick or maybe she let him suck her feet (that man's foot fetish will get him in trouble one day).

Carter is a WHORE/SLUT/HOOKER, sorry if it hurts you to be faced with the truth about her, but the sooner you accept it the better, stop lying to yourself.

This word 'deluded', I do not think it means what you think it means....

I liked Weir fine at the beginning but she failed to be interesting past a certain point. I approve of the decision to replace a whine-ass diplomat with someone who has the experience and skills from a decade of dealing with non-Earth culture and, uh, EVIL HUMAN-HATING ALIENS, to head the Atlantis outpost.

That said, I think Weir's exit was handled with the dignity that her character deserved: she made a heroic stand, and gave the team the chance they needed to turn the tide of the war. That was the ballsiest Elizabeth ever got without being possessed by an angry dead alien chick.

Also? I don't hate all women. Teyla is like 5438759872948 times more badass and likeable than Weir, sry2say. And while I miss Carson, Keller is pretty decent. And Cadman was a fucking riot. And Heightmeyer deserved a lot better than she got.

So, uh, in conclusion I'm sorry that you're threatened by a brilliant woman in a position of military power but get over your Weir fetish or stfu.

Threatened, yeah right, more like Carter fans feel extremely comfy adoring their military barbie and fantasizing about being her, and making her up to be oh so smart and pretty and lovable.

Oh and NEWSFLASH!, she's old and jaded, might have been hot like ten years ago but not anymore, her saggy cheeks, body fat, and soccer mom aspect is distracting, tiic trying to pretend she's the hottest shit ever is laughable, talk about pink glasses.

And she's boring, with her goodie two shoes and higher than thou attitude, just ask the people who she's turned off of Atlantis this season, she's a real snore fest.

Must hurt to think of her as the be all and end all, but see the crappy ratings she's getting, no one wants to see her washed up, tired old face on t.v. :D

Did Amanda Tapping refuse to take a picture with you at a con or something? Why are you so goddamn bitter?

Newsflash: Carter is smart, on par with McKay actually-- you gonna hate on McKay now? And who said she was the hottest shit ever?

Also, there can't be that many people she's turned off Atlantis, or maybe she brought more around from SG-1, because the show did get renewed-- are you pissy about that, too? She's not even on the show that much, so if you want to blame the ratings on anyone, how about you spread it around to the writers and the other cast members? The episodes this season have been pretty fucking stellar, actually.

And Tabula Rasa would have not been as good with Weir instead of Carter, because where Carter was like "Hell yes let's do this" Weir would have been like "no, let's try and negotiate with them!" and everyone on Atlantis would have died. :D

In conclusion:

Thank you for bringing down the overall intelligence of the fandom.

And seriously, leave the actress out of it. That's just weird.

You're delusional and childish.

Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but her character isn't a whore (ZOMG SHE KISSED LIEK 5 GUYS IN THE PAST 10 YEARS? AND MOST OF THEM IN DREAM/ALTERNATE REALITIES?! SHE MUST BE WHORE!) and it's pretty damn obvious that her familiarity with the mythology and the close friendships she had made in the past 10 years in SG-1 made her an appropriate choice to replace Weir (who was already going to be replaced anyways).

Answer: At the risk of repeating myself, it’s not an either or situation. The addition of Carter wasn’t the reason we decided to take Weir in a new direction.

Answer: Not at all. As I stated in a previous entry, the decision on the Weir character was made BEFORE the decision to bring in Carter. If it hadn’t been Carter, it would have been someone else.

Also, the ratings are skewed by the number of Atlantis viewers who TiVo the show-- after that's factored in, S4 is doing better than the end of S3 was.
