If you think all women or all men in any fandom act/write in any one specific way, well, that's kind of sad.

Yeah, it's not all about the misogyny of "women are catty". I hate strict gender roles and generalizations, and I would still have a problem with this secret if it was saying that female-dominated fandoms are better because men are all one way and women are all another way.

This. Why is it so damn hard for people to conceive of the notion that literally every single person on earth is individualistic and different from the next, regardless of gender, sex, race, etc.?
