If someone can help me stop chewing on the inside of my lips I would be most grateful. I can sometimes go a couple days not doing it but then I wake up with the inside of my mouth chewed to hell.

If you do it at night, there's like these rubber mouthpieces you can get, some even tailored to your teeth. I think I wore one (briefly) after I stopped waring braces.

I'll have to see if that helps when I sleep at least. Now for when I am awake...

Kallanda mentioned rubber mouthpieces; I have a mouthpiece that fits my upper teeth and I wear it at night to prevent tooth grinding (because it gives me TMJ), and I have no idea if it would help you but it might be worth a try. You can get them (they're called bruxism cards, or night guards, or something along those lines) in the oral care section of a pharmacy, and you boil them and fit them to your teeth. They're not too expensive.

Address underlying causes of anxiety in your life.

Been trying that my entire life. Got on anxiety/depression medicine and have been getting healthier (losing weight and such). But a fucked up childhood is far reaching.

Try chewing gum so that you're not chewing your lips. And when you're eating, if you can (i.e. a snack, solo dinner at home, etc.) take your time with your food, chew it a lot/eat really chewy foods, etc.

Maybe those can help?
