Yeah, I completely agree with OP's comment about how a lot of female fans seem to feel the need to somehow "dress up" their porn instead of just calling a spade a spade. There's nothing wrong with porn for the sake of porn. You can draw two guys having sex if you want without it having to be "representation" or "being progressive" or anything like that. You can draw degrading, smutty porn because you like fantasizing about that being done to you and you don't have to excuse it.

Must be the fandom corners you hang in because the ladies I follow for fanworks never pretend it's anything but good ole smut. 'Representation' and 'being progressive' have never come up.

Seconding this. If anything, most fangirls I've met seem to revel in shameless smut, porn, etc.

You're lucky. In my fandom the slash is being a good ally and representation, the het is sexist, the smut is feminism and female power, even though there are no females in it.

Just call it what it is people. We don't know who you are.

Um, the best thing about my parts of fandom is we're all mostly females and we own our porny shit. We have that progressive stuff and meta and all but we have our Female Gaze fic and art WELL represented.

Sorry you haven't found any of that, anon.

I've read male fantasy porn, it felt emotionless and all about how much allwomen want his dick. That bores me, I want two people bonding, becoming friends, falling in love, you know, romance stories?

And I take that in both male/male and male/female.
