Yes, of course even for religious reasons. Religion should not be an excuse to traumatize and mutilate a child (and potentially kill).

Even if it didn't cause trauma (which it does*) and mutilation (as in to inflict a violent and disfiguring injury on), it still causes around 100 deaths a year in the US alone. It has no purpose.

If someone told you that they, I don't know, brand infants just after birth for religious purposes or because it is pretty, you would be mortified.

No, just for infants and other minors too young to consent to (or even understand) body modification. The religious are welcome to get themselves circumcised if they want, as far as I'm concerned.

They can have whatever genitals they want. I've just been conditioned to think that penises don't look like that. So when I see one that does, viscerally I have a reaction of "that ain't right!" I know it's silly, but there you go. I'm a product of my culture, what can I say.
