Out of curiosity, what are your favorite RPGs?

And yes, it's Legacy of Kain. I had no earthly clue what I was doing--I was just bumbling my way through room after room, moving blocks here and impaling vampires there, without a clear goal in sight. Witcher 2 sounded like another game where I'd spend a lot of time fumbling about and trying to figure out how to not die, which I reserve for Dark Souls and The Binding of Isaac.

The Dragon Age series and Kingdoms of Amalur at the moment - they're pretty linear in nature, you have room to wander and get a little lost, but it's easy to find the main path again, unlike Soul Reaver. I remember it drove me crazy with its vagueness and endless backtracking ("go north", yeah, sure, I'll get right on that), but I had more time on my hands when I was a kid to appreciate the immersion. Now I want an arrow and big words popping up on the screen to tell me what's what. Witcher 2 has that, it's not "three guesses how you need to progress now and the first two get you killed" like Dark Souls.
