The original post mentioned benefits which come from public coffers. People who are not on assistance have the right to spend their money however they want because its their money.

People have the right to spend money on whatever they want, regardless of where it comes from. It is not for you to manage where they put their money.

Unless it comes from public coffers. People on welfare are not earning their own money. They are taking from others and that money should not be wasted on things that are not needed.

Humans need to feel happy, you asshole. A miserable person is an less productive person, no matter how hard they try. It's how the human brain works. A stressed, unhappy person is a less productive person, and person who is much more likely to become ill, physically and mentally. Which means they'll need even more help.
