It looks like this isn't a Halo secret, it's a secret about that Halo-based machinima series that's really popular on TV Tropes. (I'm surprised no fans of it have shown up yet--I thought we had a few folks who watched it.)

I LOVE Halo, but this is about Red vs. Blue, and I never got past the first or second season so this secret makes no sense to me. (Keep meaning to, though. Some of it was very funny. “I always hated you... The most.”)

you should watch it! shit starts to really go down around season 6 (and by that i mean it suddenly gains a really cool plot and extra serious characters in between the comedy).

i don't have much interest in the current season or the last season, though, because the ending of season 10 felt too much like a series finale, and the show no longer has the same charm. (and some of the original characters i really liked only show up periodically for cameos. boo.)

The bits I did watch are extremely quotable (“Or it's a key all the time and when you stick it in people it unlocks their death”, “Time is not made of lines, it is made out of circles, that is why clocks are round!”, “Would you put that in a memo and entitle it, “Shit I already know?”) so I know I should. Especially if it gets a serious storyline, because back in the beginning it was mostly just hilarious silliness. Enjoyable, but the story line inclusion sounds appealing.

I feel like everything is going to eventually drop in quality if it goes on long enough, but that's unfortunate. Still, the show had a long run, right? At least somewhere around 12 seasons? That's impressive!

Was it really rape though? I thought the alien just infected him with a parasitic embryo by doing...alien stuff. It's forced impregnation and really fucked up, but I don't know if it would be rape. Or maybe it would. It would help if there were a precedence for weird alien pregnancy shit..

They really downplayed it in the show, though and even joked about it and I think it's up to interpretation--Caboose at one point made a sex joke about it but Andy explained that the aliens implant a parasitic embryo, like someone above said. I thought it was a reference to the Sims 2 alien abductions, tbh, which also aren't consensual but imply scientific experiments, not rape.

Well, the characters in RvB don't do trauma for the most part. They die, see their friends die, get horrifically injured, suffer years of abuse and hopelessness and they're fine, except for Church. I think Tucker's rape falls under that.
