Re: Fleas, and the pets that get them

Thanks! Good luck with your cats!
Re: Fleas, and the pets that get them
I use water, which means the cats yell, screech, sometimes claw, and both of us wind up very soggy. I used to put them in the bathtub (lukewarm water, I run it to where it doesn't feel hot OR cold on my bare wrist), but found they put up less of a fight, for some reason, if I use my kitchen sink.
I usually just use a cup to wet them down with the faucet running, shampoo them up with one hand and use the other cup to rinse 'em off. And I go through lots of towels to get them "not sopping" and they take about a day to dry off, after which I brush them.
They get mad, but they all get kitty treats afterwards, so they deal. Some cats are better with water than others, too. Like, one of my cats - eh, she just mostly gives up and looks sad. Another sort of whines. And my youngest cat, she just goes PSYCHO. I always come away with battlemarks, lol.
Maybe I ought to look into powder. That might be less bloody, lol.
