(Anonymous) 2014-06-21 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)I don't see how my kinks are harmful to vulnerable people in society when I'm getting them out on fictional characters. There's a reason it is there and tagged for, so people can avoid the shit they don't like. These kinks aren't being deemed as acceptable in society, they are being acknowledged and warned for because we don't support these acts in real life being done to real people. I don't fetishize real instances of trauma, I would never wish them on anyone and don't derive pleasure from actual people suffering.
You know what is being normalized? Understanding and warning for kinks that people enjoy in a fictional and harmless setting, maybe that's what you mean by too much tolerance, but I am not morally wrong for harmless fantasizing in the realm of fiction.
