Yeeeep. You said "you said this" I said "I did not" you pointed out that YES, I did actually say that.
And then I said "Wow. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. This is what I meant."
I'm so terrible. What with admitting that I said the wrong thing and all that.
Gosh, just so terrible.

You are the one talking about me, about the things I am saying, how I'm saying it, what I've said.
I'm just following conversational cues. If you want to talk about the fact that how I spoke hurt you - I'm okay with that. Really, I am.
I get how being mischaracterized by that - by sloppy writing, even - can hurt. A LOT. So if you want to talk about that - you can talk about that. I'm not going to jump on you for being angry (hell, I'm a HYYUGE fan of social change through anger and whatnot.)
It's just that - if I say "I didn't mean it that way", you either have to accept that...or don't. And you don't accept. Or haven't, at least. So after I admit what I did wrong, there's nothing else for me to do.
Except, I guess, get angry back.
...which didn't really solve anything, did it?
