I don't know if this is weird without the proper context, but man, I used to watch Van Helsing aaall the time. If I was suffering from a hangover, that is. I still watch it at least once a year, even though I've pretty much stopped drinking.

Listening to grindcore or death & black metal while I was sleeping was also a thing a couple of years back. I had a playlist and everything! I used to have problems falling asleep if my apartment was totally quiet, so every night I would turn the volume of my laptop waaaay down, press play and go to bed.

I don't know why, but I find dump action movies and extremely loud music really soothing.

I can't imagine trying to sleep with that kind of music playing. I'd probably end up having a heart attack.

Well, I guess I have the advantage of liking that kind of music even when I'm awake? But then again, I'm pretty sure that these days even I would have problems trying fall asleep if I had Napalm Death playing in the background. And I totally get why those genres aren't for everyone. Blast beat, shrieking and deliberately bad production values can get pretty tedious after a while.
