Anyone's Tumblr not workign? My dash has not updated in like an hour....

Seems to be an across the board thing. Would be nice if tumblr staff at least told us what was going on.

(Sadly my followers seems to think I'm not updating or something and lost two during the last hour :( )

...People unfollow you if you don't post for a few hours? That's insane to me. Are they never not on tumblr or something? Why would you care that much?

I know! I only post 7 times a day (all my stuff is queued).

Since learning how to queue I reblog about one post (or two, sometimes three) every hour for that day. If I queue so much stuff that I'll be posting more frequently than that I usually push it off to the next day and do the same, but I rarely queue more than that because I'm too lazy and not on tumblr enough. I tend to log on for thirty, forty minutes at a time and some days I don't even open the app. It confuses me why someone would unfollow someone else for posting too little. Too much I could see if you're constantly on your dash, but I don't pay that much attention to individual people, I just like looking at whatever shows up.

Well, not exactly that I care too much, but I do have noticed people tend to unfollow me if I stop posting for a couple of days. I've heard it's not an uncommon behavior, either, if I have to believe other people on my dash. Probably it's something restricted to my fandom, I think.

To be honest, I don't know why people do that, as I usually don't unfollow someone unless they annoyed me too much. I don't post that much either, five or six posts a day, tops.

No no, I meant uh, the people who unfollowed you. I don't see why they would care if you updated every day or not, but like I said, I don't usually log into tumblr but once or twice a day (sometimes not even that) and don't stay on for too long, so I don't even notice if everyone on my flist posts daily or not. That's an odd reason to unfollow someone imo.

I don't post that much either, five or six posts a day, tops.

That's not much at all.

Ah, I see, thanks for clearing that up (damn internet and the lack of tones).

I see what you mean now, and I agree with you. I mean, then the problem are those people, right? It's simply not healthy to care that much for a stranger to update their blog everyday. I hadn't considered that, so I should thank you for making me realise that. :)
