"explodey jesus nativity scenes where everyone is holding a gun"--do these exist? I'm torn between horror that they might, sadness that they might not, and resignation that Americans being who they are (I'm one), I can't discount the possibility that someone got rich selling them.

I don't think so? They couldn't sell ones that actually exploded, anyway.

I did a quick google and found an abstract nativity scene someone set up with bullets, but no actually gunslinging nativity scene.
