Maybe it's the legality thing, Dino's 22 and Hibari's not LEGAL yet. But ugh, we even don't know Hibarin's real age~

Yeah, maybe. There's still a difference between jailbait/"forbidden fruit" and pedo, though. And yeah, we can't even say for certain since he's "??" years old, lol.

Well, jailbait as in a person who is underage and one could potentially want to have relations with despite the fact it could possibly get you sent to jail.

All the boys are somewhere between 13-15, but considering the activities they do at school and that we've seen one summer break, I'd say they're more up the 15 year old side of things. Also, for some reason I seem to recall Hibari's older then the others and stuck around because he loves the school so much...?

Yeah, in an interview with Amano it is clarified that they're actually closer to 16 now (regarding Tsuna, Yamamoto, and Gokudera), since they were already 15 during the Varia arc. I think the character book ages are from the beginning point of the story, so it doesn't reflect the passage of time.

Fan: No, I'm glad I get to talk to you. Anyways, I'm just mostly curious, but are the Vongola family really only 14? No offense, but they seem older. Not just physically either, I suppose they're more mature than most people I know who are in college *chuckle*

Amano: Well, Ryohei is older than them by a year *laughs*(note:Ryohei is their sempai so she's joking about it) But no, I mean to say is, they're technically almost 16 now.

Fan: Huh? But doesn't it say they were 14 in the manga?

Amano: That was at the beginning of the story. They were over 15 by the time the Varia came and now they're almost 16.

So yeah, around the point in time Hibari would have met Dino, he should have been at least 15, if not older. I can't picture him being any younger than that.

Well, damn. That would have saved me the half an hour or so I spent researching the Japanese school system to try and pin them down a couple of weeks back XD Thanks!

I did that too, but then gave up trying to figure out how Japanese middle school/high school works. Especially only to come and find out it's a combined school, lol T_T
