Oh wow, same here. I sort of thought I was the only one! Though it does sometimes extend beyond meat for me, it's still a texture/consistency thing. Everyone around me always acted like I was super weird for it when I was younger, and people (though not my parents, at least) would always try to get me to eat stuff even though I knew I couldn't get it down. I always kind of felt broken for it.

Mine goes beyond meat too, it factors into a lot of my food preferences. And yeah, no one seemed to get it when I was growing up. I also had a hard time putting it into words. In middle/high school and most of college it was easier just to say I didn't eat red meat, but I was still weird about chicken and still had exceptions I ate like corn dogs and crispy bacon, so I'm glad as an adult people care less about my food choices.

I was lucky, no one ever forced me to eat anything I didn't particularly like (though I had to 'try' something if something new was presented, specifically if we were at someone's house).

Yeah, I can't stomach anything in the consistency range of like soft serve ice cream, yogurt, jell-o, gummi bears, marshmallows, etc. Though in my case it's a CTA.
