Ever since I told my bf about the fact that I do the whole shipping/reading fanfic thing he now makes a game out of guessing which characters I ship in whatever show/game/movie I'm watching/playing at the time(he's scarily good at it, but then I do have a pattern).

He has yet to spring fanvids on me out of nowhere though, I'm not actually sure he knows they exist... I'm not telling him, I don't need to give him more ammo.

If he does this, he's not telling. But he could be. He knows I like slash, though, and occasionally teases me with that. Or he'll read out ridiculously over-the-top fanfic to me.

It's weird, but, with the whole shipping thing...I'm unusually embarrassed bout it, while I'm usually shameless.

Hahaha, oh man I'd curl up into a ball if my bf read out fanfic to me. I think he's too scared to look himself though, small mercies. :P

I've always been embarrassed about it so it was really weird telling him, but it's also not as hugely awful as I thought it would be.

I'm pretty sure the pinnacle of hilarity for me was him reading out Chipmunks slash fic to me.


I mean, it was disturbing up to the point of being traumatizing. But man I laughed so hard.

And nope, he doesn't have that healthy dose of fear to keep away. And then he's like suggesting crack ships. Like he'll sit down on the bed with me waking up and say "hey, how about Puck/Kurt's dad in Glee. You could write a fanfic called DILF" and I'm like "thank you for that mental image", which I think is exactly what he's going for.

I'm so never letting him read my fanfic.

Okay I would probably die laughing at that too tbh.

Oddly enough he wont go looking himself but he'll make me look for it, he told me to go looking for Steve/Heimdall the other week because I was telling him how the MCU fandom has fic for pretty much every pairing you can think of and when I told him I couldn't find any he started telling me to write it. He's actually still trying to get me to write it and when I tell him 'I don't know how to make that work' he keeps giving me suggestions.

If he wasn't so afraid of that side of fandom he would make a fantastic crack-fic writer tbh.
