Re: Guys being creeps to you after weight loss?

This is something I worry about. I was never thin (but I have been less fat) and I do notice this changes people's reaction. The thing is I already get creeps sometimes. I guess with guys who like big gals I'm already popular. Thing is, I dress well, have nice hair, I'm tall, I have a traditionally attractive face...this is not to sound my own horn, but if I already get these guys when I'm medically obese, then what's it going to be like when I'm not.

On the other hand I sort of want that, though. I know it's terribly shallow, but I'd like to be pretty for once in my life. And there definitely would be some satisfaction to meeting guys who ignored you before, and are now suddenly interested - and then ignore them. Yes, that's terribly petty, I know.

Hey, you're entitled. To be able to turn it back on them has an appeal to it. Have fun. ;P

(Also, I wanna tell you you're gorgeous, but it seems... odd to say when I've never seen you. But your own description is stellar, and that it's coming from the most critical person it possibly could makes me think of this stunning bombshell. Just so ya know.)

I...wouldn't even feel entitled, just sort of disappointed at human nature, you know.

And, thank you, you're very kind. My description might be better than the real thing, you know. I don't see myself as a stunning bombshell in any case. I understand the reality of beauty standard in the society we live in and well....I'm not it. And I'm okay with that on most days, bu sometimes...sometimes I'd like to be a bombshell ;)
