It's one thing when a game asks you to seduce girls by giving them presents and beating up their exes, but having you oogle them when they're not looking is especially creepy. I'm not a Suda fan in general but hearing about the Gigolo missions made sure I passed on this one.

I got the game because the gameplay itself sounded really fun, but the more I hear about it, the less excited I am to play because of how misogynistic the game supposedly is. I remember looking at the art book and kind of feeling my heart sink because most - if not all - of the female characters are simply there as a sexual conquest.

I would recommend at least trying the game it if you already bought it and make your own judgements. If I remember correctly, you don't really need to do the gigolo missions at all unless you want to or your on a harder mode and you need the items. Otherwise, I think you can avoid them completely. I think. It's been a while.

You can. I did the first gigolo mission but couldn't bring myself to do anymore after that one, but still beat the game fine. I believe I was also on the medium difficulty.
It is a fun game! Just...not the gigolo missions.
