Do you have any ships you wouldn't admit to unless under pain of death? The ones you go, "No, of course I don't ship that! Why would I ship that? Why would I have over a hundred pieces of fanart of them saved? I don't ship them at all!"?

You can just answer with a yes or no, I just want to know if other people have ships they won't admit to liking for whatever the reason. If you feel so inclined, you can also say what the reason you won't admit to it is, or even what the ship is, under anon.

Nothing. The only case I can imagine where I would be unwilling to admit shipping something is if it was RPF, which I'm not into.

RPF would be one area where people could be ashamed to admit shipping something, yeah. I was also thinking of things like... I don't know, huge age differences, incest, abusive stuff, non-human ships, stuff like that. Some people are much more open about their ships that fall into less-than-acceptable categories, and that's fine, but others might be a little more... uh, reluctant.

Arya/Sandor (I'm sorry, world), Gohan/Piccolo, Merlin/Uther and Lucifer/Sam (none of that woobie!lucifer shit though)

Heh. Yeah, a bit, recently. A RPS thing, which is totally not usually my style at all.

Though I don't read fic or look at art of it, or tinhat about them or anything. It's just that every once in a while a photo of the two actors comes across my dash and I think "Aw, look how [Actor1] is looking at [Actor2], that's adorable! If they weren't both happily married to other people they might be a cute thing."

I don't ship human/Pokemon pairings.

I think there's massive opportunity for abuse since a trainer would literally own the Pokemon (and there's no way a relationship can be on equal ground if one partner can literally seal the other in a ball), there's huge issues with communication and consent and it's questionable whether a lot of them have human-comparable intelligence, and just, well, the whole thing about Pokemon mostly being based on animals.

And then the eighth movie shows up and has a Pokemon main character who very clearly had got the equivalent of adult human intelligence, who very clearly can communicate in an unambiguous way with human characters, who avoids that whole ownership thing given that Pokeballs don't exist in that era and it's a student-mentor relationship and not an... owner-pet-like relationship, and who very clearly has intense feelings towards a human character and vice versa.

(The 'based on animals' thing is what keeps it at a 'fluffy cuteness' level - I'm really not keen on smut with them - but other than that, goddammit. So much for not shipping human/Pokemon pairings...)

Purely because I only ship Fanon Snarry of the variety where all parties are fully adult and no coersion, love-potions, etc are involved. Can't admit it because there is SO MUCH written for that pairing that hits all of my NOPE buttons and because the characters as they are in canon really wouldn't do it for me. :/

Destiel. Because of the majority of the SPN fandom. I'm not one of Those shippers, I just love their interactions on screen.

I ship Red x Missingno like burning. I suggested the pairing as a joke alternative to Red shipped with Gary/Green and then suddenly realised it hit all my parasitism/corruption buttons if applied right. And now I can't ship Red with anyone/thing else.

I don't even like human/Pokémon pairings.
