(Anonymous) 2014-06-24 09:49 am (UTC)(link)I don't think it's sloppy or poorly edited, I think it's just a style. Most of the books are in limited or 1st person PoV, and the asides and rambling are natural stream-of-consciousness little bits that do a lovely job bringing out aspects of the character or touches of worldbuilding. The run-ons are almost poetic at times, they pull me along down the spiral of an idea and make me read them several times and get more every time. Like I said, not for everyone, but I hardly think objectively bad. :)
