Zelda fandom has this bad habit of people developing different views on things (which is understandable, considering it's been around for twenty-eight years and has tons of games and characters and timelines!), but then deciding that they're canon and anyone else is OMG WRONG. On all sides. And getting vehemently nasty about it. I love the series and a lot of the fanbase, but I REALLY wish there was more respect for other people's views.

Also, the Pixiv tag is full of loli/shota and it's disgusting. (Pixiv lets you filter out guro, WHY CAN'T YOU FILTER OUT LOLI/SHOTA? ;_; I do not want to go browse for fanart and see ten-year-olds getting abused!)

You can filter out R-18 works. On the plus side, you wouldn't see much shota/loli porn. On the downside, no porn of characters who don't look like ten year olds.

I know, it's just not the best solution. It just frustrates me that there's a specific filter that allows you to see R-18 stuff but not R-18 guro stuff, but there isn't a filter to allow R-18 stuff that's limited to characters that are, indeed, over 18.

Yeah, I get you.

Even there was a filter, stuff could still pass through if it wasn't tagged as loli/shota. Same for the R-18 filter. Sexually suggestive stuff could still get through.
