Yeah fine believe whatever the fuck out want. I got laugh in my fucking face for trying that pounding the pavement bullshit. I watched my resume be tossed in the trash. Glad it worked for you but guess what it doesn't work for most people.

You know, from what we see of your behaviour here, there were probably reasons for tossing your resume in the trash that had absolutely nothing to do with your gender~

Goddamn this. I wouldn't want to hire this bitter ass person.

I'd say go for FedEx with that person, but...they wouldn't last a DAY at any of the main facilities with that attitude. At all.

Icey, I just want to say I have no idea why these anons are being so vile to you (I can only think that they've had terrible luck on the job market and so this is a touchy topic for them).

But I completely agree with you - in fact, any advice about job hunting I've ever read or been given has specifically mentioned that you have a much, much better chance of getting a job by pounding a pavement than by doing internet only applications. These anons are mentioning that they've seen their resumes being put in the trash - well, what do they think happened to all those online applications they've done that they got a response for? At least by going somewhere in person you might get an idea of whether the manager likes you or not and thus whether you'll get a response at all.

I have a suspicion that it's the same anon pretending to be different people. The points they bring up and the way they're phrased are really similar.

They're either A. my special li'l Hater-Anon who would hate if I said the sky was blue or B. They honestly believe that doing the same thing hundreds and hundreds of times will get them different results.

My resume got put in the trash too. I had people brush me off and roll their eyes at me. It sucks. But unemployed sucks more.
