Assholes BN wannabe fans who encourage any sort of wank if fandom doesn't cater to their specific demands.

Examples?

Plenty:

-Complaining about the lack of certain ships, or, if they like the most popular ships, complaints about how fandom doesn't ship it the way they like it.
-Complaints about not being the most popular writer and accusing the fandom of favoritism to other writers.
-Complaints about being ignored as an author, despite the fact their fics are among the most well known fics on the fandom.
-Complaining about why fandom likes things the way they like it, and expressing dissapointing about no one understanding them, who have such special and out of the ordinary tastes.
-Writing posts with all the above complaints properly tagged so they hit as most fandom tags as possible to make sure everyone knows what they think.
-Harrass BNFs once in a while.
-Repeat this every one or two weeks for added punch.

All these are real life examples, by the way.

Ah yes, now this sounds familiar.
