Ha. I think the problem started beforehand, though.

In that case I blame Joel Schumacher. He turned the camp up too high in that movie that We Do Not Speak Of which made everyone else run off and do "serious" and "weighty" as a reaction to The Movie We Do Not Speak Of and someone told the fanboys to sneer at anything brightly lit and fun. Bastard Schumacher, I'm glad he got hit by a racecar on a ski slope (I don't really pay attention to the entertainment news, so that is what I gather happened to him).
