This. It's rarely reverse psychology; it's more "this doesn't live up to my (high) standards for myself so I am stating that in advance so people know it's not that I don't have standards, plus it gives me a defense in advance against 'lol that sucks' feedback" sort of thing.

I have a lot of problems with this too, I'm just posting anon instead of claiming the opinion for myself. Because the way I worded it sucks and never mind ;)
