There was a good post on tumblr (I know, that's an oxymoron on F!S, but hear me out) debunking trans!Arya with a compilation of passages out of the books where someone calls her "boy" and she corrects them, and even parts where she wishes internally that she were able to correct them when she's posing as a boy.

It's still a prevalent headcanon.

I know certain trans* people want someone to look up to, but I think people not conforming to rigid gender roles is not the way to decide who gets to be trans* and who's absolute cis.
