Well, it sort of depends on who would ask. If it was a good friend, totally, yes. And maybe even a less good friend if I felt bad for the lizard.

Well, I basically acquired two hamsters because someone was going to use them as snake food. And this is the story of how I got pets.

That's roughly how mum got a pair of pet albino rats! A cleaner found them in the hospital and they were going to kill them, but she said "NO!" and saved the rats. She kept them in a bird cage, but they would break out and wake her up by sniffing her nose!
And that is why I want rats.

I had a rat. They're nice pets. She was very sweet and easy to handle, also funny. Sadly she died quite young of a tumor, which is unfortunately common in domestic rats.
