just googled this movie and wow, it has a 13% rating on rotten tomatoes. from your description it doesn't sound that bad??

I don't really think it's bad at all. Just mindless. The accent Jeff Bridges adopts takes some getting used to, though. But really, I'm a sucker for Kevin Bacon and Mike O'Malley, and I like Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges, so maybe it's just actor-like keeping me from feeling too poorly about it.
